Palbong Mountain
Palbong-san Mountain is one of the 100 splendid mountains. It rises 327.4 meters above sea level. It consists of 8 low peaks, explaining its name, Palbong-san Mountain (8 Peak Mountain).
Miyakgol Valley
Miyak gulley is a beautiful place surrounded by tall mountains and deep valleys. A geomancer passing through this area once said that this was a propitious area where people with high ranks would be born.

Hongcheongang Ggong Ggong Festival
Every winter, the Hongcheongang Ggong Ggong Festival unfolds in Hongcheon, the leading healthy playground in Korea, along with ginseng trout. It is one of the leading winter festivals in which participants can benefit from various experiences such as ice fishing that is easily enjoyed by men and women of all ages as well as trout fishing with bare hands. In the festival, a wide range of trouts from young fry to strong and fresh ginseng trouts that fed on ginseng will be available.
Korean Beef and Wild Vegetable Festival
Get hooked on Hongcheon-produced Korean beef and the scent of wild vegetables! The fateful encounter between vegetables, the gift of spring presented by the pure and crystal clear nature of Hongcheon, and the Hongcheon-produced Korean Beef, which has won the Korea Prestige Brand Awards for seven consecutive years! The Hongcheon Korean Beef and Wild Vegetables Festival is held every spring in Torisup Forest of Hongcheon-gun Urban Forest Park in Gangwon-do.
Hongcheon Beer Festival
A festival where you can enjoy fresh beer brewed on the same day! Enjoy a variety of stage performances and events at Hongcheon which houses Korea's largest beer brewery.
