How to apply for membership
People officially registered as Hongcheon-gun residents
General membership
- Eligibility: General public whose official address of residence is registered with Hongcheon-gun Office, excluding those who are younger than middle school students.
- How to apply: After user authentication and membership subscription, a membership card will be issued from the lending desk.
Child members
- Eligibility: All children who reside in Hongcheon-gun
- How to apply: After user authentication and membership subscription (representative authentication by parents for those who are younger than 14), a membership card will be issued from the lending desk.
Those who are not official residents of Hongcheon-gun, but work (attend) at workplaces (schools) located within Hongcheon-gun
- General membership : Bring an employee's ID or a certificate of employment
- Student membership : Bring a student ID or a certificate of enrollment

Loan limits and periods
- 3 books at any given time for up to 14 days
- Reserved loan : 2 book per person, loan available within 3 days from the day following the return of the corresponding book
- Loan suspension : In the event of a failure to return the borrowed books until due date, the loan will be suspended for the number of days of overdue
