Palbong-san Mountain is one of the 100 splendid mountains. It rises 327.4 meters above sea level. It consists of 8 low peaks, explaining its name, Palbong-san Mountain (8 Peak Mountain). Every peak has its own hidden enchanting scenery. The rocks and stones along the Hongcheon-gang River meet the wide, white sandy beaches, creating the most picturesque of scenery.
