Hongcheon Local History Museum within the Mugunghwa Park exhibits materials that can provide understanding of Hongcheon's culture. The first exhibition room exhibits history of Hongcheon, food, clothing and shelter of residents and materials related to weddings and funerals.

The second exhibition room exhibits historical documents related to Hanseo Namgung-eok and Mugunghwa and the third exhibition room as an agricultural exhibition room exhibits culture and cultural tools such as Julmak(backpack) used in Gangwon-do mountain areas, lighthouse, wooden bowl, corn tofu and thresher, etc.
