It represents the image of a clean area and the home of the Mugunghwa and expresses the image of a 'County of Culture and Tourism' by representing the visual images of the natural environment, 'patriotism' and the 'love of one's home.' We emphasized visibility and future- oriented ideas by presenting the Mugunghwa in a less realistic, simplified manner, and the shape of a leaf and drops of dew in the lower part of the flag represent the clean, pure natural environment of Hongcheon -gun and the purity of its people.
