Consisting of a Mugunghwa and a waterdrop (the face), symbolizing the clean nature of our county, the character is diong a unique gesture. The futuristic antenna on the right represents the significance of the character as a leader of the information oriented era. The Mugungy character is not just a symbol but also plays an important role in making the people of Korea, not to mention the people of Hong cheon -gun, feel close to our county. It is used to promote the county of Hongcheon through certain campaigns and through the active development of a wide range of products. The character will be made to take on various gestures and designs to be used in the develop- ment of many promotive products.
