It is located in the upper stream of Hwayanggang Stream, and respects generosity and courtesy. This is a village where people with good hearts live together. The village has a unique terrain as it has a wide plain although it is located in an alpine zone. Surassal rice, the luxury rice of Hongcheon, grows well here. The area boasts a beautiful view as a scenic spot and place of historic interest. The village is home to Seobongsa Temple, which attracts a lot of vacationers on hot summer days. - Wild Edible Greens Collection: Wild aster salad, ragwort, wild chives, shepherd’s purse, lyreflower, Japanese angelica shoots, bracken, Ulleungdo ladyfern
- Seed Sowing: Planting beans, waxy corn, potato and sweet potato
Autumn
Scarecrow Making, Harvesting, Bean Shaking, Grasshopper Catching, Stealing Beans, Sweet Potato Harvesting, Fruit Picking, Chestnut and Acorn Picking, Pine Mushroom Picking, Honey Collecting
- Bean Stealing: Pick unripe beans with the whole branch (shells) and grill them on a fire to eat
- Fruit Picking: Grape, Amur grape, Korean kiwi fruit, hawthorn berries (a crab apple type of fruit that is as big as a fingernail)
- Honey Collecting: Collected honey is available for purchase on site (late autumn)
