Sarangmal means, “Overflowing with generosity, love, and attachment.” Isn’t the name pretty? Hwadong-ri, Seongdong-ri, and Bukbang-ri in Hongcheon-gun are collectively referred as to Sarangmal Area. This is because all of the three villages are filled with generosity, love, and attachment! But that is not all! Sarangmal Area is also a place where you can taste pine nut and rice grown with an environmentally friendly agricultural technique using freshwater snails along with a beautiful view of Daeryongsan Mountain, Yeonyeopsan Mountain, and Gujeolsan Mountain.
