After a series of social media posts suggesting it, Italian supercar maker Lamborghini finally revealed its NFT (non fungible token) Project. The Space Key is a collection of five physical objects that unlocks a unique digital artwork by a yet to be identified artist. Developed in collaboration with NFT PRO(tm), the "collector's item" is limited to only five units and will soon be auctioned off.

At the heart of each Space Key is a block of carbon fire composite material, which was sent to the International Space Station in 2019 as part of a research program. After returning to Earth, the block was engraved with a QR codes that link to the digital element within the Space Key.
