Top Black Friday and Cyber Monday Robot Vacuum Deals

If you've ever wanted to purchase a robot vacuum, now's your chance. CNET's top-rated models are available for sale this Black Friday and Cyber Monday, with savings of up to 57%..

The Roborock Q7 Max is a powerful robot that has smart mapping and app-based no-go zones. Its run time of 180 minutes is impressive. It also self-empties and refills its water tank.

1. iRobot Roomba j7+

The Roomba J7+, IRobot's most intelligent vacuum cleaner robot to date, is the Roomba J7+. Its biggest innovation, however, is its camera-based obstacle detection system. It uses AI to recognize objects like charging cords and shoes. It's the first robot to provide you with images of objects that it encounters, so that you can instruct that it is safe to avoid it.

The Combo J7+ is the most efficient robot mop we have ever tested. It picks up dirt and spills quickly and leaves no trace of it was there. It's easy to control through the iRobot Home app which allows you to schedule cleaning and create Keep Out Zones so that it doesn't sweep areas you don't want it to. And it's compatible with Alexa and Google Assistant, so you can start and stop it with your voice.

The design is also better than the competition. It has an elegant, top piece that looks like an toy, not a loud and obnoxious robot. And the Clean Base Automatic Dirt Disposal System is self-emptying and is ideal to reduce the time spent cleaning.

In our tests the j7+ was quick to pick up and remove dust, dirt and pet hair. The rubber brushes that counter-rotate kept the debris in place instead of scattering it on the floor robot. It was able to capture small pieces of gravel, sand, and even a tiny bit of grit. Most robots could not achieve this feat. It did this without getting tangled in our pet's hair.

The j7+, while not as sophisticated as the Roomba S9, which costs $1,217+ Self-Emptying Vacuum robot cleaning machine from iRobot, and cannot clean the stairs, is an excellent choice for those who need both a vacuum and a mop. It's not too expensive and the iRobot App makes it easy to use.

While the iRobot Home app is very user-friendly however we've found it be less reliable than other apps that work with robotic cleaners. It can take a while to download updates, and it's sometimes difficult to tell if they are working until you see them in action.

2. Roborock Q5+

If you want a robot vacuum cleaner that can do more than simply clean your floors then a hybrid is the best robot vacuum for tile floors option. These robots come with a water tank so they can mop and vacuum simultaneously. They also come with a variety of additional features, such as smart mapping, small obstacle avoidance, and the ability to dry and wash mopping pads. They're expensive at retail, but they often lower prices on Black Friday or Cyber Monday.

Roborock produces some of our favorite robotic vacuums and the Q5+ is no exception. fail to impress. It's their cheapest auto-empty model. While it's not equipped with some of the premium features that are found on more expensive models (like no-go zones and multi-story memory) it's a great choice if you're willing to sacrifice a bit to save hundreds of dollars.

The Q5+ is exceptionally gentle when it comes to obstacles such as walls and table legs. This makes it an excellent option for homes with many furniture pieces. It's also very thorough in cleaning up dust bunnies. This is a area where many robot vacuums that are less expensive aren't able to meet. The Q5+'s navigation is top-quality, with a few misses along walls and in corners.

The Q5+, like other Roborock products can be controlled via just a few buttons on the device or via the Roborock App. Through the app, you can start and stop cleanings or schedules, establish virtual barriers and no-go zones, and alter your home map or change the labels of rooms.

If you choose the Q5+ it includes a new auto emptying dock that is designed to make the robot easier to maintain. Installing it requires a screwdriver, but once in place, emptying the bin is done easily. It also comes with an impressive LCD display which is great to have when setting up schedules or adjusting settings. This isn't a necessity for the majority of people but it can assist you in keeping track of your robot's maintenance intervals with ease.

3. Narwal Freo X Ultra

The Freo X Ultra is a well-rounded Robot Sweeper mop and vacuum that's astonishingly clever in its vacuuming and mopping capabilities. Its design is one of the most innovative in the market however it's quite expensive.

Its base station looks good and is easily hidden when not in use, and its size is relatively compact. The main reason to buy the station is that it automates many tasks, functions and chores that other robots leave to you. It stores clean and dirty water, it electrolyzes and heats the water (which many other robots require you to do), empties the dustbin after vacuuming, and ensures that your robot charged and clean.

Its vacuuming is also impressive. It's the only robovacs that I've tried that does a really good job of cleaning up debris from bare floors, and it's not nearly as loud as the more expensive Roomba 980 or iRobot the 900 series.

But the Freo X Ultra has its shortcomings, particularly when it comes to navigation. Its LiDAR sensors and laser sensors aren't as reliable and reliable as other robovacs. This means it is prone to getting stuck or confused in certain corners or rooms in the home. It's not able to navigate stairs as well as some competitors, either and it doesn't have an dock that allows the user to set up a dedicated cleaning zone for carpets that are soft.

Although it doesn't provide the same amount of cleaning configuration options in its app, or as many in-app shortcuts as other robovacs, the Freo X Ultra is still an excellent choice for those looking for a comprehensive robot vacuum and mop that's worth the premium price price.

If you're looking to cut costs or don't mind the limitations of the robot, there are plenty of other options available. A lot of eufy models are substantially less. The eufy Qrevo curv, for example, is cheaper and has more features, including stairs and a fully-function Dock, with the ability to provide a more thorough vacuuming experience on floors that are unfinished, low-pile carpets and even high-pile carpets.

4. Eufy RoboVac G30

eufy is an Anker company with an established track record of making robot vacuums with the right balance of features, performance and price. The G30 Hybrid is no different, offering a capable cleaning of hard floors and mopping, carpets and other surfaces at a price that is affordable. It's easy to set it up, simply attach one of the side brush and then turn it on. Then plug in your charging dock. The app walks you through a few steps to connect it to Wi-Fi. After that, the G30 is ready to go. You'll need to leave the dock near an electrical outlet and plenty of room for it to move but.

The G30 is tiny, 2.85 inches tall to be exact, which means it will fit under many couches and other furniture with a low clearance. Its design isn't as ostentatious when compared to rival models. It is sleek with a black finish with three buttons that are physical for Auto Cleaning start/pause (which scrubs the area in a spiral pattern over two minutes), Recharge and Spot Cleaner. You can also link the G30 to Amazon Alexa or Google Home to do unscheduled cleaning with voice commands.

The main aspect that makes the G30 apart from most competitors is the method it cleans. It makes use of an integrated map to create a picture of the immovable objects in its path. It can remember the things it has cleaned and the areas it was unable to access. It then returns to the base to recharge and continues cleaning the area it left.

The sleek G30 has a few flaws. The iRobot Roomba is better built and has lower recurring costs. It is faster to charge, has similar battery life and is more effective on bare carpet or floors with low pile. It also has a larger dust bin that doesn't have to be emptied as frequently and comes with an array of boundaries to keep it away from certain areas. The G30, however, is more affordable and a lot easier to maintain. Its smaller canister means it doesn't need to be emptied as frequently and has less trouble with bulky materials like cereal.smart-robot-vacuum-saving-mom-and-kid-from-tedious-2023-11-27-05-00-38-utc-min-jpg-original.jpg
