WoW Upgrades - The Item Upgrader

Upgrades will give you a boost to certain stats. Each upgrade boosts the level of an item by +3. A random extra substat is also added to each upgrade.

The upgraded gear is usually more valuable, unless the item upgrades is not required by nature (like FB sorc shields) or has a large variance in stats (like eth Titan weapons). Upgrades are less important for those with lower requirements due to the need to roll the perfect version.

Recycle Points

The item level Upgrade upgrader allows players to upgrade their gear by offering the currency to an NPC. Upgrades can be made on any kind of weapon or armor. The item used to upgrade the item is discarded and cannot be used again. Upgrades can also be applied to the enchantments.

You can upgrade your equipment anytime by visiting the upgrader in any major city. To keep your gear up-to-date it is recommended you visit the upgrader every couple of weeks.

The cost of upgrades will vary based on the current item level of the equipment being upgraded however, they will always be cheaper than buying new equipment from other sources. Upgrades such as upgrading a Benthic chest to 385 ilvl will cost you 20 recycle points. Buying a similar item will cost you 105.

Valorstones

Upgrades are useful items which can be used to upgrade weapons tools, armor, and other items. They can be purchased by players through item upgrader NPCs in exchange for a variety of currencies, item Level upgrade and can be found in random treasure lists. Once an upgrade has been purchased it can be applied to any weapon or tool using an button, which will display a preview of the item at the next upgrade level if the player has sufficient materials.

The cost of upgrading varies based on the item slot, and the current level of the item. For instance, weapons will cost more than gloves, bracers, or bracers.
