The Best Robot Vacuum That Mops

These multitaskers can be a great option for those who want to get rid of mopping off their list of things to do. Some models have superior navigation and obstacles avoidance. Some even wash and refill mopping pads themselves to ensure a hands-free clean.

The Eufy S1 Pro

This is the model you should select if you're looking for a robot vacuum cleaner that also mop. It's smaller than other options, making it easier to maneuver in tight spaces or under furniture. It has a 220 degree Lidar that, when combined with the 3D Matrix Camera System, gives it some of my favorite navigation and object avoidance capabilities I've seen in robot vacuums. It's got a battery of 4600mAh that can last up to 170 minutes if mopping and sucking are set to standard mode. (It can run longer when it is set to turbo). It will even return to its dock to replenish its battery during the cleaning.

It's very quick and does an excellent job of cleaning my two bedroom apartment. It is able to vacuum carpeted rooms quickly and hardwood floors in the living room, kitchen, and hallways with just one pass. Its motor of 8,000pa is able to pick up dirt as well as pet hair and even droppings effortlessly. Carpet detection automatically boosts power when it comes into contact with rugs, and the two side brushes help pull out dirt from corners.

The mopping performance, while still impressive, is not as effective. The mop's rotating mechanism spins fast and utilizes 2.2lbs to clean dirt and stains. I've also noticed that the front arms protrude out slightly more than other robots, which is useful to maneuver around tight corners and on baseboards. The same front arms can also be used to scoop up larger debris like broken toys and books.

Another nice feature is that the S1 Pro is one of the quietest robot vacuums and mops I've ever tried. It doesn't produce the same amount of noise when mopping or vacuuming, and is quieter than the Narwal Freo X Ultra or RoboRock S7. The only downside is that the S1 Pro must use a proprietary cleaning solution for mopping, and is sold separately from the vacuum. It is easy to set up, and it works well. However, if you are buying this robot vacuum solely to mop, you will need to be aware of this.

The Roborock Q Revo

The Q Revo is different from other robot vacuums in its class. It is equipped with a broad array of features that make it a great option for homeowners looking for an extremely efficient, flexible and adaptable cleaning machine.

The device comes with an efficient cleaning robot mop and vacuum system that integrates LiDAR sensor technology with an RGB camera. This allows it to map out the house, detect furniture and other obstacles. This information can be used to clean effectively and efficiently. This leads to an effective, consistent cleaning that's also fairly quick.

The Q Revo DuoRoller mop pad can reach a variety of surfaces. These include corners and baseboards as well as other hard-to-reach areas. The side brush can be stretched to extend to the floor, close to the walls and other fixtures. The mop pads can also be washable and dry to eliminate odors and stop buildup.

Another feature worth mentioning is the customizable options available via apps. The Q Revo allows you to adjust the amount of suction, and choose between a back-andforth or more random patterns. You can also select the number of passes which determines how fast it can move around your home. You can also choose to turn off the side brush to avoid damaging carpets and rugs.

This device is expensive but it comes with a lot of smart features. It's crucial to note that it incurs regular costs in the form of mopping supplies and maintenance. For instance the brushroll should be replaced every six to twelve months or after 300 hours. The filter is recommended to be cleaned after 150 hours, and mop pads should be changed every one to three month.

This robot vacuum mop has an excellent Amazon rating and includes an array of physical automation features. The robot vacuum also comes with an energy button that doubles as a 'Clean button' as well as a 'Home button to send it home after cleaning. It also has a multifunctional dock that automatically emptys the dustbin, refills its water tank for mopping and washes and dry its mop pads.

Separate modules for vacuuming and mopping may seem a bit old-fashioned, but they do mean you don't have to think about changing bags for disposables or refilling the water tank.

The Matrix Plus performed well at vacuuming and mopping. Its best robot hoover feature was its accurate floorplan, which it uses to draw an outline for cleaning. The Matrix Plus was able to navigate effortlessly around furniture, rugs and other obstacles. The app lets you create 'No-Go Zones' and virtual barriers to prevent certain areas from being cleaned by a mop.

We also noticed that the Matrix Plus did surprisingly well at picking up pet hair. It was able to capture a lot of the hair that shed by our cats, and even made it into the nooks and crannies of our stairs where other robots that vacuum and mop had struggled. Its noise levels were fairly low and there were lovely jingles that inform you that it was beginning and working towards its goal.

The app was too basic and you had to alter the modules each time you changed between mops and vacuuming. The app isn't able to store multiple maps, which could be a hassle if you have a home with multiple floors. The Matrix Plus is a good choice for people who want a smart robot that can do both mopping and vacuuming.

The Yiko X1 Omni

The X1 Omni is the most expensive robot vacuum that can be found in our review, but it comes with some distinctive features that make it worth taking into consideration. The X1 Omni is notable for its enormous dock that serves as an charging base for the robot, a cleaning sink and two water tanks of 4 liters. It also houses the 2.5-liter dust bin as well as the 2.5 milliliter dust bin.

The base has a few control buttons that let you manually start cleaning tasks or recall the robot, or run the dock’s auto-emptying procedure. Hold down two buttons to turn off the child lock, which is a nice option for parents concerned about children playing with the vacuum.

Similar to other robotic vacuums, the Omni Omni utilizes its camera to spot furniture and obstacles in its path and eliminate them. Its True Mapping 2.0 navigation system will map your home 10 times faster than conventional laser detection systems and is four times more accurate at recognizing objects.

The X1 can be prone to become stuck if it gets entangled in a blockage like the power cable that is draped over a rug. It will not work until you untangle it manually. This was a rare incident however it was frustrating because the X1 doesn't have a "stuck status" alert on its app.

Another issue that could be a problem is one of the biggest drawbacks is X1 Omni's inability to automatically switch between vacuuming and mopping modes during cleaning. You'll have to manually switch between the two modes, which isn't too bad however, the mopping pad doesn't get cleaned or dried between use. This could lead to mildew and mold.

On the bright side it's worth noting that the X1 Omni is a beautiful-looking robot, thanks to the design team at Jacob Jensen (of Bang & Olufsen fame) who came up with its modern, sleek base and mopping pad. It's a significant departure from the utilitarian, all-black bases that are used by rivals like Roborock and iRobot and a pleasing appearance in a market which is dominated by clunky, boxy units.
