The Roborock Q7 Max is a powerful robot that has smart mapping and app-based no-go zones. Its running time of 180 minutes is impressive. It also automatically replenishes and self-empties its water tank.
1. Roomba j7+ from iRobot
The Roomba j7+, iRobot’s most intelligent robot to date, is the Roomba J7+. Its most notable advancement, however, is its camera-based obstacle detection system. It uses AI to recognize objects like charging cords and shoes. It's also the first robot to automatically send you photos of any object it encounters so you can tell it to avoid it in the future.
The Combo J7+ is the best robot mop that we have ever tested. It removes dirt and spills easily and leaves no trace of it was there. The iRobot application makes it simple to control. It can schedule cleanings, and also create Keep Out Zones to ensure that it doesn't vacuum in areas you don’t wish to. And it's compatible with Alexa and Google Assistant, so you can start and stop it using your voice.
The design is also better than the competition. It has an elegant, top piece that looks like toys rather than an obnoxious and loud robot. And the Clean Base Automated Dirt Disposal System automatically empty, which is great to speed up cleaning.
In our tests, we observed that the j7+ quickly removed dust, dirt, and hair from pets. The counter-rotating rubber brushes kept the debris in one location rather than sending it scattering all over the automatic floor cleaner. It even was able to catch small gravel and sand, which most other robots aren't able to do. It did without getting caught up in our pet's hair.
The j7+, although not as intelligent as the Roomba S9 for $1,217+ Self-Emptying vacuum robot (simply click the next website page) from iRobot, and can't clean the stairs, is still an excellent choice for those who want both a vacuum and a mop. It's not expensive, and the iRobot application makes it user-friendly to use.
The iRobot Home App is easy to use but we found it less reliable than other robotic cleaner apps. It can take some time to download updates, and it can be difficult to know if they are working until you actually see them in action.
2. Roborock Q5+
If you are looking for a robot vacuum cleaner that does more than simply clean your floors A hybrid is the ideal choice. These robots come with a water tank, so they can mop and vacuum simultaneously. They also have a range of extra features, including smart mapping, small obstacle avoidance, and the ability to dry and wash mopping pads. The negative is that they tend to be pricey at full retail, but on Black Friday and Cyber Monday they usually drop in price.
Roborock is one of our top robot vacuums, and the Q5+ isn't an exception. This is the cheapest model of their auto-empty line. Although it doesn't have some of the more expensive features (like no-go areas and multi-story memories) but it's an excellent choice when you're willing to compromise to save a few bucks.
The Q5+ is noticeable soft around obstacles like tables and walls, which makes it an excellent choice for homes with lots of furniture. It's also extremely thorough in cleaning up dust bunnies. This is a area where many cheaper robot vacuums do not excel in. The navigation technology in the Q5+ is excellent as well, with only a few misses in corners and along walls.

If you choose to purchase the Q5+ model, it ships with a new auto-empty dock, which was specifically designed to make the robot simple to maintain. Installing it requires a screwdriver, but once it's installed it can be accomplished easily. It has a large LCD screen, which is useful in setting up schedules and altering settings. This isn't a necessary feature for most people, but it's one that will assist you in keeping track of your robot's maintenance intervals effortlessly.
3. Narwal Freo X Ultra
The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a clever, well-rounded mop and vacuum. It's capable of both vacuuming and mopping. Its design is among the best robovac in the industry however it's quite expensive.
The base station is attractive and hides it when not in use, and its size is relatively compact. The main reason to buy the station is that it automates many tasks, chores and functions that other robots would leave to you. It can store dirty and clean water and also electrolyze and warm the water. Many other robots require you to do this.
Its vacuuming performance is quite impressive and efficient, too. It's one of the few robovacs I've tested that does a really good job of cleaning up debris from unfinished floors, and it's not nearly as loud as the more expensive Roomba 980 or iRobot 900 series.
However, the Freo X Ultra has its faults, especially in terms of navigation. Its laser and LiDAR sensors aren't as reliable as some other robovacs, which means it sometimes gets stuck or confused in certain areas of the home. It can't climb stairs as well as some competitors, for instance and doesn't come with an dock that allows you to create an exclusive cleaning zone for plush carpets.
The Freo X Ultra robot sweeper vacuum and mop is an excellent choice for those who need a vacuum robot that can do everything.
If you're looking for a way to save money or don't mind the limitations of the robot, there are plenty of other options on the market. A lot of eufy models are considerably less. The eufy Qrevo curv, for instance is a bit more expensive and has many more features, like the ability to climb stairs and a full-function Dock, that provides an improved overall experience when vacuuming on plain floors carpets with low pile, and even high-pile carpets.
4. Eufy RoboVac G30
eufy is an Anker company with a history of producing robot vacuums with the right combination of features, performance and price. The G30 Hybrid is no different, offering a capable cleaning on hard floors and mopping, carpets and other surfaces at an affordable price point. It's simple to set up, just attach one of the side brushes, turn it on and connect your charging dock. The app walks you through the steps needed to connect to your Wi-Fi, and the G30 is ready to go. The dock should be located close to an outlet that has enough space to move.
The G30 is tiny, 2.85 inches tall to be exact and will fit under many couches and other furniture with a low clearance. Its design is more subtle when compared to rival models. It is sleek with a black finish and three buttons that are physical for Auto Cleaning start/pause (which scrubs the area in a spiral fashion over two minutes), Recharge, and Spot Cleaner. You can also connect the G30 to Amazon Alexa or Google Home to use voice commands to do routine cleaning tasks that are not scheduled.
The way in which the G30 cleans is what separates it from other models. It makes use of an integrated map to create an image of the unmovable objects in its path. It remembers the items it has cleaned and the areas it was unable to access. When it's time to recharge, it returns to its base, and then resumes cleaning where it began.
The eufy G30 isn't without its faults however. The iRobot Roomba is more durable and has lower monthly costs. It charges faster, has the same battery life and performs better on unfinished flooring or carpet with a low pile. It has a larger dust bin that does not require as much emptying. It also has boundary strips that keep it from certain areas. The G30 is more affordable and simpler to maintain. Its smaller canister means it doesn't need to be emptied as frequently and has less trouble with bulky materials such as cereal.
