Best Robot Vacuum Cleaner and Mop

If you need to clean up messes quickly, a robot vacuum cleaner and mop is the way to go. The top robot vacuums and mops I tested had excellent navigation and mapping. They picked up Cheerios and fake dog turds, well as wires that were strung up.

You can also schedule cleaning tasks through an app and monitor their progress.

1. Roborock S8 maxV Ultra

The Roborock S8 MaxV is the most efficient robot mop and vacuum combo. It comes with the most recent features. This premium vacuum is quick and agile and was able to pick up pet hair and human dander almost flawlessly in our Debris Pickup Test. It also comes with a stylish interface that includes a mini map of your home and a few on-screen buttons to allow manual control.

Another noteworthy feature is the S8's ability to change its cleaning mode in accordance with dirt levels, thanks to its Dirt Detection technology. It will wash its mopping pads more often when it comes across dust. Carpeted areas are given priority for mopping using a damp mopping pad.

It comes with a range of other features that are smart as well, including a different dock that connects to your home plumbing to wash and clean the mop roller without needing you to refill it manually. You can even make use of voice commands using the built-in voice assistant of the S8 that can be activated by saying "Hey Rocky" to specify rooms cleaning, modes and granular controls using just your voice.

2. Yeedi Cube

The Yeedi Cube offers a variety of options for those seeking an automated robot vacuum that is hands-free that also has mopping capabilities. It's part of a plethora of robot vacuums that also include mops however it's priced at a lower price than the majority of competitors.

Like all robovacs, the Yeedi Cube requires a little bit of work in order to get started, including setting up an account with the manufacturer's app and connecting it to your WiFi network. After that, however, the robot can start cleaning and mopping easily.

It's important to note that the mapping process could take a while, and the Yeedi Cube may need a few tries before it gets a good picture of your living space. Additionally the object detection is unpredictable; it was able to skim over furniture and other obstacles, but was stuck on a loose tassel rug and had to turn it over to get free. These are minor flaws and the Yeedi Cube remains a great choice for those who need a cleaning companion that does it all.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete

The Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete offers a three-in-1 home cleaning solution. Its innovative mopping feature an inclination that is similar to hand scrubbing which results in floors that are actually cleaned, not just being swept. The detachable stick vacuum is a game changer that allows you to reach areas that a robotic vacuum can't.

This model is essentially identical to the well-known X2 Omni but with a slightly higher suction capacity of 8,700Pa and additional smart features. The RGBD sensor upgrade can be used to learn your home's surroundings and provide dynamic obstacles avoidance. And the smart app lets you customize various settings that include scheduling, AI cleanings, and setting virtual boundaries.

The X2 Combo also has self-preparation. Both the robot vacuum and mop return to their charging base at the end of each job to clean their pads and empty the dust bins, and place debris in bags that self-seal. This keeps the system tidy and also stops allergens from circulating. The battery life is long enough to remove large areas without the need for the battery to be charged mid-clean.

4. Eufy S1 Pro

As one of the more expensive robot vacuum that mops vacuum and mop models, the Eufy S1 Pro offers impressive features for the price. It comes with a powerful 8,000 Pa suction power, a rotating brush for hard floors and carpets and a great obstacle avoidance. It also has a unique mopping method, which utilizes a continuous roller doused with water to pull dirt and then deposit it in the dirty water tank.

Its navigation technology performed well in navigating close to walls without crashing and avoiding stairs. However, it had trouble with finely engrained debris and wasn't always able to clear raised room thresholds. Its operating noise is also quite high, and it could be less of a "set-and-forget" model than some.

As with most robotic vacuums and mops, the S1 Pro comes with a docking station that allows you to refill its clean water as well as empty its dustbin and mop pad, as well as wash and dry its mop. This makes maintenance simple and allows the S1 Pro spend more time cleaning floors in line with a regular schedule. You can manage all of its functions through the Eufy app. It provides an overview of the system and plenty of options for configuration.

5. Freo X Ultra

The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum/mower is one of the best mowers and vacuums available on the market. It provides amazing results when it comes to mopping and vacuuming. The LIDAR sensors for mapping can identify furniture legs, obstacles and other obstacles with reasonable accuracy. The app allows users to fine-tune the coverage of the map, establish no-go zones and modify their cleaning preferences. The main roller brush of the Freo is also engineered to prevent hair from wrapping around it, which could be a major issue with many robotic vacuums.

The Mop Mode also impresses, with Reuleaux triangular mop heads spinning at 180 RPM and apply upward pressure of up to 12N. The mopping system has intelligent carpet detectors, which lift the pads up when they are close to soft surfaces to keep them from getting contaminated.

The docking station acts as a hands-free maintenance centre that is able to wash and dry the mops, and refills them with detergent and distillate water. The base station features an integrated dust-processing system that compacts dust and allows seven weeks of maintenance free operation.

6. S10

A few hundred dollars less than the S8 and this robot vacuums that mop does a bang-up job at keeping my home office spotless and also tackle the corners of my cramped apartment. It makes use of laser mapping and a camera to build an image of your area which allows it to know which areas to avoid. In addition, unlike other vacuums with mopping capabilities it also has detection of objects and obstructions that avoids things like bowls for dogs and dog toys (but not poop!).

Other fantastic features include a self-emptying dustbin as well as a mop that's self-washing and adjustable for water temperature, and a side-reaching mops that can reach areas that other mops miss. You can also set cleaning schedules in the app and set custom settings for every room in your home.

It comes with the same multi-room smart mapping as the S8 and is able to distinguish between laminate and carpets with high-pile rugs. And, if you want to cut down on time, it will skip mopping in rooms that aren't soiled. It's an excellent option if you have a mix of flooring in your home and aren't looking to spend the extra money for a Roborock with advanced mapping features.

7. Q5 Pro

This robot is a great option when you're seeking a flexible robot that can do both regular maintenance as well as touch-ups to wet messes. It comes with a variety of features including self-emptying dustbins, the water refill dock, and customizable settings in the app. It's extremely quiet, and it can navigate around furniture legs and socks with ease. However, it isn't able to pick up knotted rug tassels and it's battery drains quicker than other models we tested in our tests.

The Q5 Pro, with a price of less than $250, is a powerful unit that provides a powerful suction and convenient automation in a sleek design. It wasn't as efficient as the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra in our tests for vacuuming, but overall it did very well. It comes with a variety of cleaning modes, ranging from the low power 'Quiet mode' for light debris to the more powerful "Turbo mode" for carpeted areas. It will even automate the removal and reattachment of mop pads, without getting your carpets wet.

8. K10 Plus

The K10 Plus is a great robot vacuum and mop for those who live in cramped areas. It's extremely quiet and speedy and is a great choice for maneuvering around tight spaces. It also does a very excellent job of pulling pet hair out of carpeting.

It's smaller than many of its competitors, but it doesn't sacrifice features. It has decent suction power and can be programmed to take photos of each object it picks (i.e. chew toys, socks), and mark them in the app as "not located', so that they will not be picked up again during future cleanings. The photos are encrypted and aren't tied to your account.

It's great at vacuuming, but not so well at mopping. It uses disposable wipes that clip onto the bot's bottom, and then drags them across the floor. Compare this to the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra and Narwhal, which have water reservoirs and automatically wash and reattach their mophead.robotic-vacuum-cleaner-cleaning-the-room-while-wom-2024-11-07-13-20-10-utc-min-jpg-original.jpg
